PROFESSIONAL SURVEYS & INSPECTIONS
One of the main benefits of using our popular aerial survey and inspection service is to eliminate the risk of working at height. Without the need or expense of ladders, scaffolding or cherry-pickers used in traditional surveys and inspections, the RMC team can provide detailed imagery from the safety of the ground.
By improving safety and reducing the expense of complex logistics, RMC use a range of technology to provide high resolution images or video to clients across the country. Our fleet of drones range from the compact DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise to the DJI Matrice with Zenmuse XT2 thermal and Z30 inspection cameras. With a constantly evolving range of professional equipment, we always ensure we have the right tool for the job, completing every task in a fast and efficient manner.
Our CAA PfCO & OSC allow us to perform surveys and inspections in areas which are off-limits to 99% of UK based commercial drone operators, allowing us to survey virtually anything for both residential and commercial clients. Construction sites, roofs, pipes, turbines & chimneys, confined & dangerous/inaccessible spaces, dams, bridges, culverts & docks, agricultural land and buildings, roads, motorways, tunnels and factories across the UK can all benefit from our fast and efficient inspection service.
Where it simply isn’t possible to operate a drone, our teams are equipped with a range of access poles, mast systems and reaching equipment. Used as an alternative we can gather and deliver the data as required, whilst ensuring we cause little to no disruption to the operations of your business. Our operators use their initiative and experience to adapt to any environment necessary whilst performing surveys and inspections across the UK. Maintaining the highest level of safety is key to our success and we are proud to be able to achieve results where others cannot. RMC can survey any area – however inaccessible it may seem.
We offer various internal and external inspection packages for both residential and commercial clients priced on the complexity of the property and the data required. If you have any questions, please get in touch where we will be happy to discuss our survey & inspection services in more detail.
One of our commercial clients is FCC Environment, who manage the Kent Enviropower waste management facility based in Maidstone, Kent. We perform six internal inspections of their facility, twice a year, using a range of specialist equipment and provide reports for the team to monitor safety and maintenance of all aspects of their plant.
By stepping away from traditional inspections where they previously used scaffolding, the company has saved thousands of pounds since our first visit, enabling them to reinvest in other areas of their business. Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment is a priority here at RMC and we are pleased we have eliminated the risks that working at height brings.
THERMAL IMAGING INSPECTIONS
The advanced technology of thermal cameras allow us to capture what is normally invisible to the naked eye. RMC are one of only a handful of CAA approved aerial surveyors across the UK to be operating the DJI Matrice M210 v2 aircraft with a Zenmuse XT2 FLIR thermal imaging camera operating under an OSC accreditation.
This next generation XT2 camera, combined with DJI’s leading stabilisation and machine intelligence technology equals an aerial inspection platform like no other. Previously only possible using multi-million pound helicopters, our battery powered aircraft captures accurate thermal imagery footage in a cost efficient way with a substantially reduced carbon footprint.
With this technology quite literally at our finger tips, RMC can quickly identify people, animals, leaks, damp, fire and heat-leaks whilst delivering realtime footage to our clients, a professional inspection service that has potential to be used within so many industries.
To date we have inspected power lines, pipework, solar panels/farms, roofs, AHU’s, cell towers and entire buildings, supplying our clients with detailed reports allowing them to make repairs where necessary.
