PROFESSIONAL WATER BASED INSPECTIONS
The RMC team are fully equipped to complete inspections both on and underneath water; reducing the need for a specialist diving teams and therefore eliminating risk to life. Our lightweight underwater drones and specialist inspection on water vessels are adaptable to different environments and able to transmit live data to the operator making them ideal tools to use for search and rescue missions and ongoing natural disasters such as flooding.
Underwater drones significantly eliminate the risks associated with divers and traditional sub-surface operations. Our state-of-the-art fleet of submersible vessels can dive to up to 40 metres, while transmitting crystal-clear live images to the operator in real time. With an operating time of over 3 hours per single charge, our underwater drones can safely and efficiently inspect anything from water storage tanks, to shipping docks to rivers and lakes, whilst causing minimal disruption. Each underwater drone is equipped with a 4K camera, dimmable high power LED lighting and a 40 metre safety tether to ensure an efficient and trouble-free inspection.
Alternatively, our custom-built remote-control boats are ready to launch when it’s simply not possible to use a drone – i.e. under a very low bridge, or working around listed structures. Each boat has a remote pan and tilt head, an ultra-HD 4K camera, live video downlink and a 300ft safety tether. Battery power means the fleet are completely emission free, and additional fenders/buoys can be fitted to further reduce the risk of damage to structures. With an operating time of 40 minutes on a single charge, our boats are perfect for inspecting the underside of bridges, damns, culverts, docks, rivers & lakes and flooded areas.
FLOOD DAMAGE SURVEYS
Flooding can be devastating for home and business owners affected, but it’s important that all those involved ensure safety is a priority. Until recently, flood inspections have been carried out by human divers, who subject themselves to dangerous and unknown underwater environments, however we have further eliminated risk by utilising state of the art technology.
Our underwater vessels are small, lightweight and exceptionally safe to operate, allowing our skilled operators to survey flooded rooms, houses, basements and outdoor areas from the safety of dry land. Each underwater inspection team is equipped with highly specialist lifting and safety equipment to raise and lower the vessels into and out of water, allowing us to carry out underwater inspection using drones even where access is not safe or possible.
