Incident Response

24/7 Incident Response Support for Councils and Emergency Services

Our dedicated incident response teams are on standby 24/7 to support local councils, emergency services, and public sector organisations with fast, effective assistance during unplanned incidents. Whether it’s emergency road closures, low level crime or anti-social behaviour, or incidents where a full police presence is not required, we provide rapid logistical and operational support to maintain public safety and minimise disruption.

Our goal is to relieve pressure on frontline emergency responders, enabling police and ambulance services to focus on high-priority or criminal matters while we manage lower-risk but still critical incidents. From crowd control to vehicle redirection, we help ensure the safety of the general public, motorists, and the surrounding environment.

Professionally Trained and Accredited Response Officers

All our response officers are fully licensed, insured and SIA-accredited, and each team member is trained to the highest standards in emergency incident handling. Our personnel are also advanced driver trained and qualified under Traffic Management Training (TTMBC) and National Highway Sector Scheme 12A/B (NHSS 12AB) standards – enabling them to legally and safely manage traffic flow, deploy temporary road closures, and work in live carriageway environments.

In addition, all officers are fully trained in the use of handcuffs and restraints, and are authorised to carry SmartTag forensic marking spray – a legally approved, police-backed deterrent used to tag and identify individuals involved in criminal activity.

Fully Equipped Response Vehicles with Advanced Technology

RMC’s fleet of response vehicles are kitted out with all necessary tools and equipment to manage a wide range of emergency scenarios. Every vehicle includes:

  • On-board CCTV linked to our 24/7 monitored control room for real-time situational awareness
  • Emergency road closure kits, signage, cones, and lighting systems
  • Clean-up equipment for hazardous spills, debris clearance, and accident aftermaths
  • Deployable drones operated under our GVC (General Visual Line of Sight Certificate) and A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), used for aerial surveillance, traffic assessments, and evidence gathering
  • First aid kits, defibrillators (AEDs), and medically trained staff onboard to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies until paramedics arrive

We operate under flexible Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or on a pay-as-you-go basis, ensuring you only pay when our services are required. This makes us a highly cost-effective solution for councils and emergency services seeking professional, rapid, and scalable support without the need for full-time in-house teams.
